"Amore" Story
The company was established in the year 2011 by K.K.Jape, the founder, returning back from US with bubbling ideas and a winner's anxiety to succeed in the field of entertainment and media.
While working in the silicon valley for software companies, he had in his spare time written scripts, directed and acted in plays and learnt film production at a local community college. He used to spend time watching, reading and studying about films. Finally, he decided to take this passion to make films as a full time profession.Coming back to Mumbai, with no connects in the industry and little money with him, he decided to work for some studios to understand the industry in India. Very quickly, he realised that what he had learnt in US was not coming close to how films got made in India. He decided to start on his own. "Amore" - meaning LOVE (in Italian) was his obvious choice for the name of the company. His love for the medium and its ability to create deep impact on the audiences was the starting point of this journey.
Amore Entertainment and Media Pvt Ltd, from its humble beginnings, is producing compelling content. As a content creator, it has created short films, documentary films , ad films, e-learning content and web-series. The content we create has been acknowledged and appreciated, as being enthralling and engrossing by the audiences. This to us is high octane fuel.
Today, we have our own production set-up with a green screen studio in the heart of Mumbai.
Our Talent
K.K.Jape
K. K. Jape is a MBA (Marketing) from Pune University and a certified SAP consultant in Sales & Distribution. He has worked in technology sales in USA and Japan.
While in the US, he followed his passion in film-making and learnt the art and science of film-making at the De-Anza College, California in USA. He also learnt acting at “Talking Headshots” in San Jose, California.
During his college days, he was acclaimed as the Best Actor by the "Indian National Theatre". He has also performed at the famous Madison Square Garden in New York.
At work, he looks like an octopus, multi-tasking fiercely. On a quieter day, he is listening to his favorite classical music sipping his green tea.
Vijay Kadali
Vijay Kadali is a talented Art Director expressing his creativity through life scale sets. Vijay worked as an assistant to Mr. Sukant Panigrahy and has worked for films like "Chuk de India" and "Aaja Nachle" with him. Vijay has worked on independent projects as well and his recent films being Chitrakoot and Bhatukali. He has many Ads, Music videos and short films to his credit.
He loves his quiet, his books and is a rock solid support. If he is not found working then he is meditating!
Aditya Chavan
Aditya Chavan is this bundle of high energy that every team needs in their production department. His urge to support the creative team with the right resources at every price point is simply amazing. As a Production manager, he commands respect for his ability to deliver on time. He is loved for his amicable nature.
He mingles with just about anyone, without a second thought and loves to haggle. This comes with his job!
Omkar Awatepujari
Change or shift is a part of life and drastic shift of story is an inherent part of an interesting cinema. If this is true, then Omkar believes that he is in the right business. His passion for creative arts shifted him from Engineering to Film making almost overnight ! Film making and photography are a soul thing for him.
If you see a person reading a book in a crowded place or while traveling, while everybody else is busy with their cell phones, chances are that the person is Omkar!
