The company was established in the year 2011 by K.K.Jape, the founder, returning back from US with bubbling ideas and a winner's anxiety to succeed in the field of entertainment and media.
While working in the silicon valley for software companies, he had in his spare time written scripts, directed and acted in plays and learnt film production at a local community college. He used to spend time watching, reading and studying about films. Finally, he decided to take this passion to make films as a full time profession.
Baangdya (Bangles) is a short film that was World premiered at the 63rd Cannes Film Festival, Short Film Corner, in 2010. Shot entirely in Black & White, the film tells a story of a small girl and her mother, after her father, a farmer, commits suicide. A very emotional story. This 15 minute film was also a part of the Indian Pavilion of the Information & Broadcasting Ministry, at the Cannes Film Festival.
